The University of Nairobi held the 64th virtual graduation ceremony. This is the 2nd graduation ceremony the University has held virtually in conformance with the Ministry of Health guidelines on COVID-19. This academic year 2019/2020 the University of Nairobi has managed to graduate about 8,000 graduands despite the devastating effects of COVID-19.

During the graduation Ceremony, 5,709 graduands were conferred Degrees and awarded Diplomas from various disciplines across all Colleges. The College of Education and External Studies produced 423 graduands from the School of Education (2 Ph.D. degrees, 34 Masters Degrees and 386 Bachelor’s Degrees)
