We live in an age of globalization. This is especially true for academic research and education. Research projects increasingly involve researchers from different parts of the world and students are mobile, looking for educational opportunities across national borders. However, institutional bases for global interaction in research and education are still underdeveloped.
Friday, December 20,2019; The University of Nairobi hosted the 62nd Graduation ceremony at the Chancellor's Court, Main Campus. During this event, 8,428 graduands were conferred Degrees and awarded diplomas.
The School of Education produced 694 graduands during this ceremony; 3 PhDs, 32 Masters Degree, 654 Bachelors and 5 Diplomas. Over all, the School of Education graduated a total of 1,315 graduands in 2019, of which 621 graduated in September,2019.
The Office of Career Services in partnership with the Confucius Institute of the University of Nairobi have organised a two-day Job & Career Fair on Thursday and Friday, December 5-6, 2019 from 9.00am to 4.00pm daily. The Job & Career Fair 2019 have attracted 54 companies that want to give jobs and career advice to graduating class 2019.
